Our Vineyard

Nestled in the unique climate region of Temecula Valley, Avensole Winery implores the sunshine and Pacific Ocean breezes in producing rich and plentiful harvests. This microclimate creates an ideal environment for the 16 acres of estate vineyards including Cabernet Sauvignon, Muscat Canelli, Old Vine Zinfandel, Old Vine Cabernet Sauvignon, “Heritage” Zinfandel and Gewürztraminer. Created in a New World California style with a focus on Zinfandel, Avensole Winery boasts a robust offering of exceptional varietals and proprietary blends that can be experienced in the tasting room or restaurant.

Our 2019 Melody Twins is 36% Muscat Canelli35% Gewürztraminer, and 29% Sauvignon Blanc, each fermented individually before blending to create aromas and flavors of peach, grapefruit and green apple.  The perfect harmony of this blend makes us think of our Melody Twins, Ava and Caroline, whose harmony and love of music links us forever to the Melody Twins of long ago.
