Need to Know for Your Visit

We are thrilled to welcome our wonderful members and guests to join us at the winery again!

Your health and the health of our employees is very important to us. We have new modifications and procedures in place to help keep everyone safe.



Please read carefully below for details.

Face Masks —
All Avensole staff will wear face masks. Guests are required to wear masks when not seated.

Sanitization —
Hand sanitization stations will be available throughout the property. Avensole is strictly following all protocols for cleaning and sanitizing.

Tastings & Member Glasses —
The Tasting Room will be open in limited capacity. Member Glasses are available! Please note we are not yet able to serve tastings or provide bar service.

Restaurant —
Reservations recommended (951) 252-2003 x301 or online, Walk-ins welcome!

Social Distancing —
Tables on property will be set up 6 feet apart. Kindly note furniture and chairs may not be moved. We ask guests to please remain with your group at your table and observe 6 feet safe distance from others. Maximum 6 guests per party in all areas.

Wine & Food Service in the Tasting Room —
Avensole Chef prepared selections are available! Outside food is not permitted.

Pet Policy —
Well behaved dogs are welcome on the Tasting Room Patio.

Dear friends of Avensole,

 

We know this is likely one of many communications you have received about how small businesses in California are responding to the Coronavirus. Thankfully, as a community, we are all taking proactive measures to keep you safe while visiting Temecula Valley Wine Country.

 

Avensole Winery has always placed the health, safety, and well-being of our guests and staff as our highest priority. We want to assure you that we are carefully monitoring the COVID-19 situation and taking every precaution to ensure the health of guests and staff at Avensole. We are closely adhering to all guidelines and recommendations made by the World Health Organization (W.H.O.), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and local health agencies. Our property is regularly disinfected and sanitized, however, new procedures have been established for heightened cleaning protocols in our public areas and our staff will continue to observe the highest standards of good hygiene, including enhanced handwashing procedures for the benefit of customers and staff as part of Avensole Winery’s Health & Safety Action Plan for COVID19. Our property remains open with space for visitors to maintain safe social distances while enjoying our Restaurant and Tasting Room.

Update 6/18/2021: In accordance with the California Department of Public Health, as well as Cal-OSHA guidelines, Avensole Winery will no longer mandate masks indoors or outdoors for our members, guests, and staff. We recognize various circumstances and comfort levels with the state’s new policies, and welcome members, guests, and staff to continue to wear face coverings as they feel most comfortable. We hope to see you soon!
Limousine, bus & large group policies

We happily welcome large groups as well as bus and limousine companies. Simply follow our policy below to ensure the most enjoyable visit.


Our guests with group reservations must arrive between the hours of 10am-3pm. Any variance in your arrival time may result in the cancellation of your reservation without notice. Limos and buses will not be permitted after 3pm. We greatly value our guest’s experience and ask when planning your winery visit that you please consider that Friday, Saturday and Sunday reservations are limited and fill up quickly. Reservations must be made prior to the day of arrival.


All groups, limos and busses must arrive within 15 minutes of their reservation time. If arriving later than 15 minutes we may not be able to accommodate guests due to other scheduled reservations. Yet we will try our best to accommodate the group. Drivers may drop-off and pick-up guests in the drive next to the Tasting Room.


Avensole Winery will not allow Transportation companies without a current and valid Transportation Charter Party Carrier of Passengers (TCP) license number and Responsible Partner Program with the Temecula Wine Growers Association on our property out of consideration for our guest’s safety and pleasurable experience.


Intoxicated guests and/or guests with outside alcohol cannot be admitted. No outside food is allowed.


At the Restaurant: Large Parties & After Hours Events

Reservations are required for parties of 8 or more.

For After Hours inquiries and for parties of 15 or more, please email restaurantevents@avensolewinery.com.

Charity Donation Requests
Kindly note, we are unable to respond to any donation requests made through this website or via email. Avensole Winery is proud to donate to charities that benefit the local community. Our contributions are already determined for the year ahead, and we are unable to donate to additional requests. Any organization requesting donations must complete an application in person available at Avensole Winery. The completed application must be accompanied by a request letter on your organization’s letterhead. You must be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization to be considered. Thank you for thinking of Avensole Winery for your charitable cause, and we wish you all the best in your fundraising efforts.

Weddings

The Cottage and The Loft Suite
The Cottage and The Loft Suite open at 11AM on your wedding day. Earlier access to The Cottage is permitted upon purchasing the room for the night before. This will allow an earlier start time for hair and makeup.
Wedding Coordinator
Avensole Winery does include a Venue Coordinator who will be assisting you during the planning process, conduct your rehearsal the day prior to your wedding and be present from beginning to end on the day of your celebration. Feel free to review and clarify your Venue Coordinator’s duties before you begin your search for an outside coordinator. (Couples are responsible for booking the following Vendors: DJ or live music, Florist, Officiant, Photographer, Baker)
Vendors
Avensole will provide each couple with a suggested vendor list. We do require all vendors to provide Avensole with a copy of their liability insurance and agree to and sign our outside vendor agreement.
Deposit
A $2,000 deposit and signed contract is required to book your desired date. This payment is non-refundable, but will be applied towards final balance. The following methods of payment are accepted: cash, cashier’s check/money order, & credit cards.
Service charge and Sales tax
A 22% taxable service charge is added to all food and beverage charges and current California state tax is calculated on the total of all charges.
Final Guest Count
Final guest counts and all final details are due 15 days prior to your wedding date. This will ensure all outside rentals and menu items are ordered on time.
Ceremony Rehearsal
A one hour rehearsal will be conducted by our experienced venue coordinator the day before your wedding if the venue is available. If the venue is booked, your rehearsal will take place between the hours of 11am and 2pm the day prior to your wedding. Rehearsal date will be scheduled 30 days prior to your wedding.

Wine Club

When will I receive my Wine Club releases?

Wine Club payments are processed on this first day of each release month.

 

Wines that have been pre-selected are also available for pick-up during the first week of the release month.

 

Memberships that are set up to receive shipments will be sent out the second Tuesday of the release month (unless otherwise notified).

 

*Kindly note, due to excessive heat, temperatures could delay your wine shipment. To preserve wine quality, your order could be held until weather cools.

Venture All Red Wine Club: January, April, July & October 

Venture All White Wine Club: January, April, July & October

Venture Mixed Wine Club (Two Reds and a White): January, April, July & October

Will I be notified that my Wine Club release is ready?

An email announcing full details of your upcoming release will be sent approximately 10-15 days prior to each billing. Please make sure your email address on file is up to date by logging into your Wine Club Member account, or by contacting the Wine Club Department.

Can someone else pick up my release?

We prefer not to ship wine without consent; therefore, we will hold the release for 45 days. Due to limited quantities, release specific wines are only guaranteed 45 days after billing. If the wine is no longer available, we will replace it with wine within the same tier.

What happens if I am not home when my Wine Club shipment is delivered?

Please be advised that shipments require a signature from an adult of at least 21 years or older. We do recommend shipping to your place of business, as it can be the most efficient method. Our carriers will attempt to deliver your package three times and after the third attempt, the package will be held for 5 business days at the carrier’s local customer center and then returned to the winery. If your wine delivery is returned the winery, a 20% restocking fee will apply.

How do I update my account information?

Account information updates can be made by logging into your Wine Club Member account or by contacting the Wine Club Department. Please notify us promptly of any address or credit card changes to avoid misdirected wine or charges applied to incorrect credit cards.

Can I sign up a friend or family member for a gift Wine Club membership?

Avensole Wine Club Memberships make great gifts! Just provide us with the billing information and let us know how many releases you would like them to receive. The minimum requirement is two releases.

What is your cancellation policy?

Can I substitute a wine if I don't like the wine in the release?

The wines included in each release are pre-selected by our ownership and wine making team based on several factors.

Wine Club Terms & Conditions

In becoming a Wine Club member, I authorize Avensole Winery to automatically bill my credit card for membership, including applicable tax, handling and shipping costs. I understand that it is my responsibility to notify Avensole Winery in writing to cancel or change billing or shipping information. I understand that Avensole Winery reserves the right to terminate my membership at its discretion. Wine Club allocations are billed the first of the month and scheduled to be shipped during the second week of each shipment month according to your club tier.  I understand that an adult of at least 21 years of age is required to sign for the package at the time of delivery. One complimentary wine tasting or glass per person, per day. As an Avensole Wine Club Member, I am responsible for re-shipment costs incurred if my wine is returned to the winery. Minimum three (3) shipment commitment, or a $70 early cancelation fee applies.

We reserve the right to change or amend the Wine Club policies at any time. Wine Club Memberships are void where prohibited.

Discover Club Information

Exclusively for Discover Club & Case Club Wine Club Members, this gorgeous building is open weekends.

Hours: Saturday & Sunday, 11:30 am to 4:00 pm

Seating: First come, first served.

Guests: Exclusive access for you and up to 3 guests to the Discover Club. Complimentary member glasses may be redeemed in the Discover Club, one per person per day. Additional glasses of wine and bottles will be available at Discover member pricing. Members and guests must be 21 or over in the Discover Club (children attended by an adult are welcome at the Tasting Room and Restaurant).

Food: We offer a curated menu from the Avensole Restaurant. Outside food or beverages are not allowed. We welcome you to dine with us for lunch or dinner at the Restaurant during your visit.

Animals: Kindly note, no dogs or animals allowed inside the Discover Club room or patio.
